The block was inspired by the historic 54-40 or Fight block that dates from the 1846 boundary dispute between Great Britain and America. You will learn to use the "V-Block Trimmer," a trim-down ruler from Studio 180 Design that makes easy work of the triangular units for the trees and border. Block sizes are 24", 18" or 12". Projects include a lap quilt, wall quilt, pillows and a table runner. . |
